Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Sponsor Solo - A Jillian Vance Design

Hello and Happy Friday!!!!   I'm happy to share that the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's feature, Sponsor Solo, is back!  What is that?  Well, it's when we take the time to talk about a specific Super Sponsor (a company that sponsors a Coffee Lovers Blog Hop).

Today we're featuring:  A Jillian Vance Design!

Today I'm featuring the Grandpa's Glass:  Cup of Love Die and coordinating Perk Up Stamp set:

Make sure you visit the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog for more inspiration and a chance to win!

Hero Arts: Just a note

Hello and Happy Friday!  I'm up on the Hero Arts blog today but before you pop over there I did have another card to share here on my blog.  I made this card for a class I taught at Impress Cards + Crafts.  It features the House Stamp & Cut set.

I used a sentiment from the Layered Topiary stamp set.  I tend to forget that you don't necessarily need to color everything.  This shows how the house can be stamped with Intense Black and mounted on a panel with stripes of watercolor.  The sentiment makes it an all occasion card.

My project over on the Hero Arts blog is a more traditional new home design that uses a bunch of the Infinity dies, here's a sneak peek:

Spellbinders: Never Too Old

The wonderful folks at Spellbinders sent me the Die D-Lites Gears Etched Dies:

Here's how I was inspired:

If you've been following me for awhile, you know that I tend to be a clean + crisp kind of gal.  Those gears were calling to be on a project that is grungy....don't you agree?  The gears have been inked up with Black Soot Distress Oxide and Hero Arts Pumpkin Pie Mid-Tone Shadow Ink.

I'm a big fan of the ink smooshing technique.  The background is a combo of Distress Oxides in Black Soot, Peacock Feathers + Fossilized Amber.

The sentiment is by Verve Stamps, Words of Wisdom.

My card was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

Pinkfresh Studio Technique Talk Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio Technique Talk Blog Hop!  Each project will feature a stamping technique, I can't wait to hop around!  You should have arrived here from the awesome Elena Roussakis' blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning which is the Pinkfresh Blog.

There will be four Lucky Winners!  Pinkfresh Studio will be giving away four - $25 Gift Certifcates to the Pinkfresh Studio Store.  Comments will close at 11:59 pm CST on Monday, February 26, 2018.  Winners will be randomly selected and the requirement is that you leave a comment on each blog in the hop!  Winners will be announced on Wednesday, February 28th on the Pinkfresh Studio Blog.

Today I'm featuring the following stamp sets:

Do you see those delish layers of cake?  They've been stamped with dye ink.  I have then heat embossed a floral bouquet from Fleur 1 in white.

I then followed up with various copic markers, do you see the subtle shading?  A quick way to add a bit of detail to a solid image.

I finished off my card with rainbow confetti using the various copic markers I used on the cake layers.

At a quick glance it looks like it is a clean + simple design but I think the heat embossing really packs a punch, don't you?

That's it for me and I'm the end of the hop!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Spellbinders: Oceans of Joy

The wonderful folks at Spellbinders sent me the Die D-Lites Fishing Trip Etched Dies:

Here's how I was inspired:

I combined them with the Nestabilities Standard Circles SM Etched Dies.  The fish have Distress Oxide inks that have been smooshed.  I backed them with black cardstock to define their shapes a bit.

The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Color Layering Seahorse stamp set.

My card was loosely based on Freshly Made Sketches:

Reverse Confetti: You're Fabulous

Hello and Happy Sunday!  I'm sharing a card that was inspired by my Reverse Confetti teamie Melissa:

I inked up the Something Wonderful blooms with Zig Clean Color Markers on watercolor paper.    I layered two Pierced Round Top Layers.  The bottom panel had the blooms inked up with Stone.  A happy accident was that the blooms weren't entirely cleaned off so it gave it multi-color look but not muddied.   I wanted to soften it up so I layered a vellum panel on top.

The sentiment is from the Kindness Cards stamp set + coordinating confetti cuts.

Do you spy the strip of Avocado cardstock and Free Spirit strip of patterned paper?

My card color palette was inspired by Color Throwdown:

I was up on the Reverse Confetti blog the other day, here's a peek at my project with a customized stencil:

Hero Arts: Enjoy the Day

Hello and Happy Saturday!  We hope that you've been enjoying the Hero Arts 2018 Catalog Blog Hop!  Remember to leave comments along the way for a chance to win!

Today I'm sharing a card that was designed with:

I quickly watercolored some coffee in each of the mugs.  The latte art is compliments of the Make a Fountain set.  I masked off the bottom of the cup and used the fountain spray image with Versamark and White Embossing Powder.

TIP:  Easy way to make a frame is to use two of the Nesting Rectangle Infinity Dies.

This was the Make 'n Take I did at Creativation last month.

TIP:  Not a coffee drinker?  No problem!  Use the Nesting Heart Infinity Dies with craft foam to make a marshmallow for your hot cocoa!

For my other card, I was inspired by the Comeback Challenge with Taheerah.

I CASE'd THIS card of Heather Pulvirenti's.

Let's be honest, Heather's designs are always ahead the curve but my spin are the rainbow of colors I used.  I'm featuring the Happy Birthday to You stamp set + Scenery:  Spotty Creative Screenings.

Huge Birthday wishes to Shay and Winnie & Walter!  Now it is time to hop over to Laura Sterckx's blog!

So super cute, eh?!  Love the Better Together set!

When the kids were growing up, peanut butter and jelly were a staple in the household.  Funny thing, when I was growing up it wasn't something that I had until I was in 7th grade.  I was visiting a friend and her Mom made it for us for lunch.  I thought it was such a delicacy (LOL).

There's a giveaway on the SugarPea Designs blog!  You have all week to comment!  Winners will be announced on Monday, February 19th.
